Along with the repair of your piano it may be necessary in order to achieve optimal; function of your instrument to regulate the action. This process accurately coordinates all of the working parts of all 88 notes on your piano. Everything from how far down your key travels to how far away your piano hammers sit from the strings at rest are governed by a specification which a good regulation will re-establish. In order for a piano to be regulated all repairs on the piano must be complete and all of the pianos moving parts must be in good condition.
